"For the Beautifully Off-Centre" Maroon-Red Upcycled Wall Plate

A cherub clutching a blazing red heart floats in a lush storm of flowers, bones, butterflies, and small creatures — a tiny guardian for the beautifully off‑centre. Set against a deep maroon‑plum haze, this wall plate blends sweetness with a sly sense of mischief, creating a world where devotion, kitsch, and surrealism collide. A piece for those who collect tenderness with teeth.

This is a work of hand cut collage, re-purposing a ceramic dining plate, turning it into a one-of-a-kind art piece to be displayed on the wall. This is part of my sustainable practice to save the environment, by up-cycling existing materials.
